YourSay.com

Tried out this site for online surveys. My review as follows:

Good
- Membership is free
- No spams so far
- Surveys are customized to Singapore context
- Easy money - got paid $3 for doing a simple, less than 10-min survey online

Bad
- Takes a long time to process payment - received payment for a survey done in May only in August
- Surveys are few and hard to come by, received only about 1 -2 surveys per month
- Quota for participants is low, so if you are slow in responding, you don't get to do the survey
- Payment is not by check. have to give personal information such as bank account numbers

You can register as a member here. By the way, I DO NOT get anything by referrals.

How to Earn Money on the Net and Kill your Day Job

Do you always dread it when you have to wake up for work and drag your heavy feet to the office? Do you need to deal constantly with nasty and unreasonable colleagues, bosses and clients? Do you always feel unappreciated at your workplace because your bosses fail to understand the scope of your work? Do you wish to strike the lottery so that you can enjoy financial freedom and escape from all the above?

Well, I am not sure about you, but I have certainly experienced (and is still experiencing) all of the above. Other than wishing upon the star that I will strike the lottery one fine day, I have decided to take things into my own hands and reduce the dependency on that dreaded day job which takes up so much of our time and offers so little satisfaction in return.

What do I mean by this? With the advent of the internet age, people are no longer constrained by geographical borders. We have a wealth of information and resources before us. Most importantly, businesses and advertisers are all going online, fighting for maximum page views. There is already an array of programmes (such as pay to surf, pay to click, banner ads, online surveys etc) on the internet that allows you to monetize your website or earn money from other websites. I shall be reviewing some of these programmes in the next few posts, so stay tuned!
